at least he wouldn’t ban registrants from the subway Iike Como tried to.

Now that, would be incredible. Should he actually win of course.

And Desantis is trying to run for President and getting the legislature in Florida to amend the laws so he can run while still in office. See how that amending of laws works for those in power? How would having that nut in office bode for PFRs? If Florida is as bad as it is, can anyone imagine him trying to push that on the entire country?

This guy was a great debater and a good legislator back in his day. When he got into trouble, he was actually working on important legislation that would have affected one of the big cartels – I think it was Insurance or Health Care. Them pushing this scandal to the forefront helped sideline him and avoid whatever he wanted to do. (Kinda like when President Clinton got into trouble when he was pushing for Nationalized Health Care.) The people who profess belief in the [In]Justice System should agree he paid his price and let him be good at what he does. He does have an addiction, though – and he should be taking care of himself on that front as well.

“…former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY), a convicted sex offender.”
But is he actually a Registrant?? 🤔
Is he listed on a Megan’s Law website?

(Just curious. 🤷🏻‍♂️)

Let me pre signal what is to render here. I expect to see a comparison to the former Chicago Mayor Ms. Lightfoot in the mix. It kills me the coincidence in names and topics. Trump vs Trumpka, for instance. One the old world, one the new. Poor Barrack’s first officially assigned media frontman’s last name was Carney. No connotation it that… Right? By God, we’ve yet another Kennedy in the mix. That family must breed like political rabbits or something! I’ve no complaints about Weiner’s run if it be his volition. He just better not put his last name on his licence plates and drive to MI, cause he might get charged with an displaying unlawful plate. NY city is one hellova herd of cats. In America, everything is possible. I was wrong about Durbin as VP, again I underestimated CA’s pull in the general election. You Californians carry 50 reps right. Every time I hear the phrase “Big Joe” I still see Teddy Savalas and not the other bald guy. ACSOL has a unique opportunity with Mr. MaCarthy. Clearly the fascists are filling the vacuum between the extremes. If Congress doesn’t evacuate the fed from child rearing choices, and fast, blood will run. We still haven’t heard who “leaked” Dobbs!! Naturally and more importantly by what mode of communication did the leak occur?

That’s the buried headline as for my beef with your valley boys.

I think Weiner would be an excellent mayor over the current one who should be defunding the police and using those funds for crime prevention. Not appropriating money for toys and gadgets that his former cop friends can use in the NYPD

It would be incredible if he manages to pull this off – a remote possibility to be sure. Still, it would completely shatter the presumption that you cannot come back from at least certain registerable offenses.

Even should he make it well into the race, it would mean many people are willing to put his past aside.

I wish him luck should he decide to run. Not just out of registrant solidarity of some kind, but because I did find him to genuinely be a more thoughtful and analytical politician than average (a low bar, to be fair).

Are you all crazy? Weiner was one the worst advocates and introducers of bills to destroy New York Sex Offenders lives! I, plus perhaps thousands, had our lives worsened by Weiner. He should rot
